Bosnia is one of the republics, which occurred when Yugoslavia was split into two after the civil war. The country is situated by the Adriatic sea and is mountainous and with a low land area in the north around the Sava valley. The country is still working on the reconstruction after the civil war and the stamps help drawing attention to the quite newly gained independence of the country.
