Luxembourg  is a small grand duchy, which is centrally located in Europe with borders to Belgium, France and Germany and which, through the history of the country, has been under different countries domination. Today the country is independent. However, today the country is independent and an important center for the banking business as well as basis for the central EC-institutions.
