Includes certificate. The Germania (German national personification) is depicted with a cape and imperial crown. The shield shows the Prussian imperial eagle bearing the coat of arms of the Hohenzollern on its chest. The dove of peace is depicted with spread wings and an olive branch in its beak as it lifts from the boy's hand. To the right of the boy and Germania are an elaborately carved stem of a dragon boat (symbol of shipping), a cogwheel (symbol of industry), hammer and anvil (symbols of craftsmanship), caduceus and a bale of goods (symbols of trade and commerce), a sickle, bonded grain sheaves as well as fruit (symbols of agriculture). The background shows the calm sea. On the obverse, the denomination is depicted in words. The dragon Fafnir on the reverse is shown with a smoking mouth and clutching his treasure as well as the denomination. Below the dragon, there is the control stamp of the Reichsschuldenverwaltung.
