Hong Kong enjoys a subtropical climate and is home to a rich variety of plants with more than 3100 plant species. To encourage the public's awareness and appreciation of Hong Kong's trees in all seasons, Hongkong Post issues a set of four stamps under the theme of "Seasonal Trees in Hong Kong" to introduce four kinds of seasonal trees that are commonly seen in the four seasons respectively, which include Yellow Pui that blooms in spring, Jacaranda that blossoms in summer, Bald Cypress that turns golden in autumn and Bell-flower Cherry that endures the strong cold of winter.
