Germany 2019 - 2 EUR commemorative Coin in Wall Segment

The Franco-German friendship is of great importance for Germany and Europe. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Berlin Wall's fall on November 9, 2019, Germany and France issued a joint 2 EUR commemorative coin. Designed by French medalist Joaquin Jimenez, the coin features an image of the Berlin Wall with a large opening and a crowd flowing through it. One side includes the inscription "30 Jahre Mauerfall," while the other showcases the artwork "Worlds People - Wir sind ein Volk" by Shamil Gimajew.
